Yvonne Quinn-Chittle
Yvonne has an Honours Bachelor Degree of Music from the University of Windsor and is a fully accredited A.R.C.T. Teacher and A.R.C.T. Performer. She specializes in teaching adults and children with performance anxiety or learning differences.
Yvonne teaches students to read, love, and understand music using all styles, including classical, popular, jazz, and holiday music. She is particularly gifted at customizing her teaching to suit students' individual needs. Yvonne focuses not only on teaching students to read the music, but also teaches proper stage presence and how to handle performance anxiety. Yvonne also teaches vocal students piano, with the goal of being able to accompany themselves while they sing.
A Musical Soul... Yvonne began playing piano at the age of three. Decades and countless musical accomplishments later, she still nourishes a deep, unwavering love of music!
Professional Education:

Studied piano and pedagogy with Sr. Elizabeth Therese at the Ursuline School of Music and taught at the school for over 10 years.

Studied organ with Therese Gadoury, Founder and Director of Ste. Cecile Academy, and David Palmer of the University of Windsor

Obtained an A.R.C.T. in both teaching and performing.

Obtained an Honours Bachelor of Music from the University of Windsor, studying piano with Dr. Philip Adamson
Professional Accomplishments:

Over 40 years of experience teaching students from ages 5 to 75.

Over 40 years of experience performing in concerts, ensembles, accompanying, weddings, funerals and dinner music.

Has played organ, keyboard and directed choir in several churches in Essex County, Ontario.

She has been accompanying soloists in vocal and instrumental concerts and juries at the University of WIndsor for over 40 years. She has also taught students piano proficiency at the university.
